Björn Hanneke is an information systems researcher focused on the design of decentralized
markets and token economics. At Goethe University Frankfurt (Germany), he studies
tokenized value, incentive design, and economic security. His work has appeared in top
outlets including the Journal of Management Information Systems, the International Journal
of Research in Marketing, and Business & Information Systems Engineering, and at leading
information systems conferences such as ICIS, ECIS, and WISE.
Björn brings extensive strategy consulting experience to his academic work. Building on his
